Three British football soccer players have been charged with sending homophobic tweets, and may face stiff fines for doing so.
The UK’s Soccer Football Association says Nile Ranger, Manny Smith, and Federico Macheda (right) all recently sent messages containing anti-gay slurs on Twitter. The players have until 4pm today to respond to the allegations.
