Frontiers: Antwerp: Flemish & fabulous

In the picturesque northern European city of Antwerp, a queer mini-mecca has been born. So gay-friendly is this historic-cum-hip gem of just under half a million that even its police chief, Serge Muyters, is out and proud. Earlier this year the city hosted the annual IGLTA (International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association) convention, and in 2013 it’ll open its big homosexual heart to the World Outgames, sure to shore up its place on the global travel gaydar.
